Frantic FCloud
A better way to use the cloud.
What is FCloud?
In summary, FCloud is an online dashboard that allows companies to bring together all their cloud resources from several different platforms
Why did you make FCloud?
I started developing FCloud after hearing about how my family uses so much iCloud storage, but the next tier up was so expensive and they wouldn’t need that much storage anyways. I realized there was a gap in the market for a product like this, something that lets you pay for what you use, nothing more and nothing less.
This strategy, however, turned out to not work so hot. In reality, normal pedestrians don’t really understand the pay-as-you-go model, and thats ok. So, in late April 2024, we decided to make a big change, and switch to working only with businesses and developers. This switch allows us to provide better support and more tailored experiences with FCloud’s users.
What services does FCloud offer?
FCloud does not organize by service. Rather, it organizes by catagory of resource. These catagories encompass Amazon’s offering for said catagory, Googles offering, and FCloud’s offering if availible.
There will be three catagories availible at launch:
- Storage (Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, FCloud Cloud Store)
- Serverless functions (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)
- Virtual machines (Amazon EC2, Google Compute Engine)
Have you launched yet? As of March 2024, no. Email me ([email protected]) or visit fcloud.app and sign up for the waitlist. If you want to join the exclusive private betas, email me.
I will update this when we launch (No I won’t, I will absolutely forget.)
